Rather than writing you a novel, I will just list my 11 points of contention, and for most I will have proposed solutions.
US politicians sold us out. Their elections are funded by fabulously wealthy corporations and in return, elected officials then pass legislation that benefits the corporations. This is corruption. A vast broadening of the terms of 'fair use' for intellectual property that includes all not-for-profit endeavors, thus making all software, educational materials, technology and medicine available at cost-of-production (usually free) for noncommercial uses.
Woefully wasteful expenditures of tax money on war. I propose an option for every citizen to opt out of funding war.
Corporations are NOT people, and should NOT have the same rights of people, They don't feel, die, or care what happens to our planet.
Socialized medicine, as public health is a public good.
A radical and rapid building of sustainable energy infrastructure. Removal of subsidies for fossil fuels and reallocating them towards sustainable energy.
