There are many manmade problems that would justify pulling one's hair out! Luckily there are also manmade technological solutions for most of these problems, provided that they are made accessible. The potential of these tools is limited only by human imagination.
The peer economy By my loose definition, peer-to-peer (P2P) is any arrangement when people can connect and exchange services in a decentralized manner. I'll just list a few of these services that are so exiting.
Uber (et. all)
Open Street Map
Tor (et. all)
3D printing with Thingiverse (a website for sharing 3D printable objects)
I will surely elaborate upon these items and elongate the list, but this is just to point out how all of these networks merely platforms that facilitate the collaboration of peers. None of these services could exist without the contributions and consumption of and by peers.
Also worth getting excited over:
Reddit University and all the other online services that give you a free education
E-doctor visits in India where care is administered over video chat.
You know what? This list of things to get stoked over is such a daunting task, I don't even know where to begin. Can I get some help?
